Urumqi, China – October 12–13, 2025 -The 2025 China Formwork and Scaffold Association Annual Conference and 2nd Technology Forum took place at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Urumqi, Xinjiang. The event brought together experts, scholars, and business leaders to talk about new technology and trends in the formwork and scaffolding industry.

Recognizing Leadership and Innovation
Mr. Martin Yun, Vice President of GOWE Group, was invited to speak at the Technology Innovation Forum. He was awarded the honor of “Leading Figure in China’s Formwork and Scaffolding Industry for 2025”, recognising his long-term work in promoting progress and innovation.
This award highlights both Mr. Yun’s personal dedication and GOWE Group’s leadership in driving new technologies in construction.
Award-Winning Technology
GOWE’s Formwork and Scaffolding Technology Research Institute won the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress for its new system — the “Integrated Vertical Shaft Formwork System.”
This technology, developed by GOWE Innovation (Beijing) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., has already been put into real-world use by Jiangsu GOWE New Materials Co., Ltd., helping improve efficiency and safety in construction projects.
Academic Success
GOWE engineers shared their latest research at the 2nd National Academic Conference on Formwork and Scaffolding, presenting six technical papers that were later published in Steel Structure magazine.
Among them, Zhou Qiyu’s paper on high-support formwork construction won First Prize. Five other papers also earned Outstanding Paper Awards, covering topics such as shipbuilding scaffolding design, cold-formed steel use, and advanced construction methods.
These results show GOWE’s strong research ability and commitment to innovation.
