After more than four years of construction, Beijing Daxing International Airport, selected as the top of the Seven Wonders of the New World by the British Guardian, will be held in September 2019. It officially opened on the 30th.
This large single terminal building surpasses Dubai World Center and Istanbul Third International Airport in Turkey. It covers an area of approximately 1.4 million square meters, equivalent to 63 Tiananmen Square, and the roof area alone is equivalent to 25 football fields!
Daxing International Airport aims to build the benchmark of the world’s super-large smart airport and adopts several innovative technologies, from the appearance design and internal service facilities to the actual use of the airport, all at the forefront of the times. As a leader in the new building formwork scaffolding industry, GOWE products have also been successfully selected for this major project, helping to accelerate the operation of Daxing International Airport.

The construction project utilized an early dismantling formwork system, with over 100 workers completing the project in just 7 months. GOWE products are mainly used in the main terminal of Daxing Airport, realizing the dual-in and double-out terminal of Daxing Airport, the viaduct leading to the main terminal, and the first “viaduct with double-deck departure. The underground pipe gallery project of Daxing Airport realizes the terminal building under the high-speed rail.
