The Zhongke Street Extension and Xingfu Avenue Interchange, part of the Changchun New District New Urbanization Construction Project (Phase I), is a transformative infrastructure initiative jointly constructed by Heilongjiang Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (Beihu Branch) and Gowe Group. Located in Beihu Science and Technology Development Zone, Changchun City, the project commenced in May 2020 and was completed in October 2020, showcasing remarkable efficiency and precision.
The project features a “three roads and seven bridges” rapid road network system, including east-west Xingfu Avenue, north-south Beiyuanda Street, and Zhongke Street. With a total design length of 34.2 kilometers, the roads are built to urban expressway standards, with some sections meeting arterial road standards. The main road has 8 lanes in both directions, while the auxiliary has 6 lanes in both directions. The total construction volume reached 800,000 cubic meters.
As a critical transportation artery, the “three roads and seven bridges” system connects the Beihu Science and Technology Development Zone, the Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, and the China-South Korea Cooperation Demonstration Zone within Changchun New District. This infrastructure significantly enhances regional connectivity, promotes coordinated development among the district’s various zones, and creates new advantages for the rapid economic growth of Changchun New District.
Heilongjiang Construction Engineering Group and Gowe Group played pivotal roles in delivering this project. They leveraged their expertise in large-scale infrastructure construction to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
