The Guangzhou China Star 8.6-Generation Oxide Semiconductor New Display Device Production Line, located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is a groundbreaking project jointly executed by China Construction Fourth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. and GOWE Group. The project commenced in June 2021 and was completed in March 2022, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and innovation in the semiconductor display industry.

Project Details

The Guangzhou China Star 8.6-Generation Oxide Semiconductor New Display Device Production Line, located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is a groundbreaking project jointly executed by China Construction Fourth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. and GOWE Group. The project commenced in June 2021 and was completed in March 2022, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and innovation in the semiconductor display industry.

Covering a total land area of 562,364.31 square meters with a construction area of 1,184,642 square meters, the project includes key facilities such as a 3-5F array workshop, a 4-5F color filter and cell workshop, a 4F reserved module workshop, a 3F comprehensive power station, a 2F wastewater treatment station, a 1F chemical supply and recovery room, three 1F chemical warehouses, a 1F special gas station, a 1F general warehouse, and a 1F silane station. The total construction volume reached 1.163 million cubic meters.

With an investment of 35 billion RMB, the production line boasts a monthly capacity of 180,000 glass substrates, making it China’s first high-generation production line dedicated to manufacturing high-end IT products and professional displays. This project significantly enhances the domestic semiconductor display industry’s competitiveness and technological capabilities.

China Construction Fourth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. and GOWE Group were critical in delivering this state-of-the-art facility, leveraging their expertise in large-scale industrial construction and advanced engineering solutions.
